RahRah is kicking off 2023 with a new look and a new website! But we didn’t just update our logo and brand colors. We thoughtfully reflected on our past and where we want to go from here. If you have a few minutes, I’d love to hear your feedback.
How we got started
We founded RahRah because we remember how challenging it was to find our way on campus. For most students, those obstacles lead to a lack of motivation, engagement, and sense of belonging.
With a vision for a better experience for students, we set out to create a better way to access resources and information essential for a successful (and enjoyable) academic journey.
Our team spent two years on campuses, partnering with students, administration, and faculty to identify what students really want and need to amplify their student experience. I’m proud to say we built the best student portal possible through this Design Thinking methodology. As a result, we’ve had the privilege of partnering some of the top universities and colleges across the United States to boost their student engagement and experience efforts. And we continue to iterate on our solution every day – with feedback and input from students and Higher Education professionals helping us chart the way, of course.
Our updated mission statement
Today marks an exciting day as we simplify our mission statement to mirror the intentional simplicity we built into our app interface. We continue to want to break down barriers and help students find their way around campus. We will always want to support students in finding new events, groups, and services to make their experience better.
But put simply, “We’re on a mission to elevate student success worldwide.”
While it turns out we’ve been doing that from the start, we need to make it clear that that is our ultimate goal. And in order to do that, we’ve found that one recurring theme arises again and again. Community. Humans are social creatures and in order to be successful at anything, we need to feel connected to others around us and the work we’re doing. And so we’re going to be intentional in our dedication to helping our clients build their communities.
Our new logo
Representing the eight dimensions of well-being, which we endeavor to support students in balancing and enriching, our new logo conveys the focus and thoughtfulness we put on all aspects of a student’s journey. When these eight elements are in harmony, success is more achievable and accessible for each individual.
Our new website and digital presence
Today we are launching our brand new website (which you’re on right now!), and we’ve made changes to ensure it is consistent with our evolved mission and improved brand direction. The messaging better explains our purpose, as well as how our solution specifically serves to fulfill that purpose. Our app and other digital presence will be updated to also reflect this evolution and growth.
What’s next?
Over the coming months, our team is excited to launch several new features that will support our mission.
We’ll also be expanding our resource and knowledge section of our website to serve as a beacon of information and content for our clients, their communities, as well as the wider public. I hope you’ll explore this new website and keep your eye out for exciting things to come!
